The Health and Wellness Center (Iranzi Clinic) is an extension of the ongoing ministry of our local church in Kigali, and a physical expression of God’s love to the poor in Kigali. Just as Jesus did, we aim to integrate a physical and spiritual ministry, using His example.
Our role in establishing this center is to mobilize believers from within the church community to reach out, practically, to the “least of these” in Kigali through health care and spiritual care as well as health education. God’s heart and passion to reach the poor will be reflected through His Church as she ministers to those in need in Kigali.
Desperately needed Maternal Child Health Care, HIV testing, awareness and prevention, as well as other health related education and services will be provided.
This Center values training and equipping health care workers and will function as a teaching facility for Rwandan Midwifery and Nursing students on clinical rotations, setting a high standard of quality, compassionate care in Kigali. The birthing aspect of our center will provide care according to the International MotherBaby Childbirth Initiative, grounded in evidence based and respectful care.
To transform the whole man through provision of adequate, high quality, affordable health care services responsive to the needs of the community.
The mission of the health centre is to:
- Provide high quality, evidence based, health care and treatment services for all patients seeking care.
- Provide medical outreach services to the communities and households through adequate and well trained community health workers.
- Provide health and development education through appropriate Information Communication Technologies.
- Provide spiritual and psychosocial care in addition to health care to all patients. This holistic care will better meet the needs of our clients.
